The Victoria Symphony Orchestra offers quality orchestral music for all in the crossroads area of south Texas. The Orchestra, led by conductor Darryl One, features a variety of world-renowned soloists at its 2007-2008 season subscription concerts, which runs from September through April. Special concerts include a collaborative performance of Peter and the Wolf with the Victoria Ballet Theatre in September, the annual Halloween concert "Symphonic Spooktacular" in October and a free outdoor concert "Downtown Rhythms" in April.

The mission of the Victoria Symphony Society is to enrich, entertain, educate and inspire our community through symphonic concerts of the highest possible artistic quality within the framework of available resources.
